=== Content Engine Bridge ===
Requires at least: 5.6
Requires PHP: 7.4
Stable tag: 0.4.0
License: GPLv2 or later

Connects a WordPress site to the content engine.

== What it does ==
* REST field `ceb_seo` {title, description, focus_keyword}, stored in the active SEO plugin:
  Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress, The SEO Framework (no focus keyword), All in One SEO.
* REST fields `ceb_lang` and `ceb_translations`, stored in Polylang or WPML.
* GET /wp-json/ceb/v1/capabilities: what the site supports, plus warnings for the onboarding
  (no HTTPS, application passwords off, search engines discouraged, Rank Math wizard not finished, ...).
* Readable layout for engine-written posts (class `ceb-tldr` or the engine's `data-fm` wrapper), colours and width in Settings > Content Engine Bridge.
* Works with any theme: the theme's title and featured image are lined up with the text column, a date glued to the
  title goes on its own line, an oversized title comes down to a readable size. Themes that already get it right see no change.

* /llms.txt for AI assistants: the platform writes it after every website check (POST /wp-json/ceb/v1/llms,
  for users who can publish posts); switch off under Settings > Content Engine Bridge. A real llms.txt file wins.

== Setup ==
1. Upload and activate the plugin.
2. Create a user with the Author role for the engine and an application password for it
   (Users > Profile > Application passwords). Authors can write posts, not pages or settings.
3. Run the onboarding check: GET /wp-json/ceb/v1/capabilities with that user.

== Tested (2026-10-13, local Docker, WordPress latest, PHP 8.2) ==
Yoast, Rank Math, SEOPress, The SEO Framework, All in One SEO: stored and printed in <head>.
Polylang: language and translation links. WPML: implemented from the WPML API, not yet tested (needs a licence).

== Theme check (2026-10-15) ==
Twenty Twenty-Five, Twenty Twenty-One, Astra, GeneratePress, OceanWP, Kadence and a Bridge-like theme (date glued to a
64px centred title): title, image and text in one column on desktop and phone, no sideways scrolling.
